Puslinch loves Guelph Reflexology, Too!

I'm not in the township, but I’m barely outside it. My clinic is 15 to 20 minutes up the road at 15 Surrey St W in Guelph, and if your search for reflexology in Aberfoyle, Morriston, or Arkell keeps coming up empty, that's because there aren’t many dedicated reflexologists in Puslinch itself.

So locals make the drive, the same way my clients come in from Cambridge or Fergus, and they tell me the service is worth the trip.

Why see a Registered Reflexologist?

RRPr stands for Registered Reflexology Practitioner. I'm certified and in good standing with the Reflexology Registration Council of Ontario (RRCO), our province's reflexology association. My training began in 2005, and I’ve kept up with ongoing education ever since.

The RRPr designation is recognized across Canada and accepted by many insurance providers.

Reflexology therapy makes up the whole of my practice, so every treatment is unhurried. It’s also committed to what your body needs that day, and tuned to you as a person.

What reflexology can do for you

Reflexology a safe, natural therapeutic method based on the ancient Chinese belief in qi, the energy that flows through ten vertical zones of the body.

Reflex points on the feet, hands, and ears are connected to different organs, glands, and parts of the body; reflexes in your toes, for instance, are connected to different parts of your head and neck.

Treatment involves applying pressure in different amounts to these reflexes to clear energy blockages and support your body’s efforts toward natural healing.

There are more flavours of this work than people expect. Some practitioners use tools like reflexology forks, offer hot stone foot reflexology, or practice facial and ear reflexology, stimulating the brain through the face and the ears.

My own approach is classic: feet first, with hands or a face treatment if you’d like.

Working gently this way, reflexology can help with a wide range of conditions and various health concerns.

Here are the health benefits of reflexology Puslinch clients report most:

  • Reduce pain from headaches, migraines, and muscle stiffness

  • Relieve tension and unwind

  • Lower stress and still anxiety

  • Boost circulation and blood flow

  • Improve digestion and ease constipation

  • Soften hormonal imbalances

  • Sleep more deeply and shake off fatigue

  • Strengthen the immune system

  • Feel a deeper sense of overall well-being

This is a complementary therapy, not a replacement for medical treatment, and I don't diagnose or treat illness or disease. It belongs alongside the care of your medical team. If you’d like more information first, my complete guide to reflexology will explain more.

Guelph Reflexology Services

Many extended health plans cover treatments provided by a registered practitioner like me. After every visit, I provide a detailed receipt showing my name, RRPr designation, and RRCO registration number, which is what insurers usually request.

Coverage can vary, so check your plan before your visit.

What to expect on your first visit

Your first appointment runs 75 minutes: a little paperwork, a conversation about what brought you in and what you’d like to change, and then your full treatment. Regular sessions after that are 60 or 90 minutes, whichever you prefer.

You’ll stay fully clothed and relaxed on a comfortable padded table. The room will be calm and quiet while I’m working one foot at a time and keeping the other wrapped in a warm towel.

I adjust my touch to you; this therapy is beneficial for all ages, from kids to great-grandparents. Most people settle into deep relaxation, and a few fall asleep, which always makes my day.

Drink water afterward. It helps with detoxification, as circulation and lymphatic drainage pick up and toxins move out, and it can help with overnight recovery too, extending the benefits of reflexology into tomorrow.
